7 Day Self-Drive Golf Tour of Scotland

Arrive Glasgow airport where a car will be awaiting you.

Your first stop will be Dalmunzie House in lovely Highland Perthshire en-route to Braemar. The hotel garden must be one of Britain's largest at 6500 acres! Set amidst some of Scotland's finest mountains, the hotel has its own 9 hole course - the highest in Britain. There is also fishing, shooting and stalking which can be arranged, subject to notice and season. At Dalmunzie you are ideally placed for the whisky trail. You have two nights at Dalmunzie with two days unlimited golf at the hotel.

We then move north to Dornoch in Sutherland where you have two nights at Dornoch Castle, formerly the Palace of the Bishops of Caithness, and is a 15th century building with tower and dungeon! Sutherland has fewer people per square mile than anywhere else in Britain.

The Royal Dornoch Golf Club is one of the finest links courses in the world of golf, "the most fun I have ever had playing golf" saidTom Watson.

To complete your tour we move south to The Borders, staying two nights at the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel at St Boswells, Melrose on the banks of the Tweed. This is a beautiful restored Scottish Country House next to the ruins of Dryburgh Abbey.

Here you can choose between fishing, shooting and of course, golf - with 14 courses to choose from within a short drive of the hotel. Your tour ends here.
